What a monthly digital partnership is and when it makes sense for your company

Between hiring a full-time technology director and calling an agency every time something breaks, there's a third option most small companies don't know about. Here's how it works, what it costs and who it's for.

The problem nobody solves for you

If you run a company of 5 to 50 people, this probably happens to you: you know technology could do a lot for your business, but you have nobody who takes care of it with judgment.

The options you know don't fit:

    • Hiring a technology director costs €60,000 to €90,000 a year in Spain or France, and more in Miami. And you don't have work for a full-time person.
    • An agency sells you closed projects. They build the website, deliver and leave. When you want to improve something, it's another quote, another salesperson, another project.
    • A freelancer by the hour puts out fires, but nobody thinks about strategy. Each thing gets solved separately and you end up with ten tools that don't talk to each other.
    • Doing it yourself means technology competes with running the company. And it always loses.

The result is familiar: technology decisions postponed, tools half implemented, manual processes everyone knows should be automated, and a permanent feeling of falling behind.

What a monthly digital partnership is

It's having a senior professional who acts as your technology director, part time and for a fixed monthly fee. Someone who knows your business, decides with you what to build each month, builds or supervises it, and coaches your team until they actually use it.

In English it's called a "fractional CTO". I call it a partnership because it describes better what it does: it isn't a consultant who delivers a report and disappears, nor a developer who only codes. It's someone who is there.

What it includes, in my case:

Strategy. An initial diagnosis of your processes and tools, a quarterly roadmap with priorities, and a monthly review of what worked and what's next.

Execution. Automations, integrations, improvements to your website or your system, AI implementation where it makes sense. Built by me or supervised if other providers are involved.

Team coaching. Hands-on training on every new tool, a direct channel for day-to-day questions, and the persistence needed for new things to be adopted.

Judgment. A second opinion on any technology decision: an agency quote, a tool you're offered, a provider you want to switch. No commissions from anyone.

How it works month to month

First month: diagnosis and plan. I map your processes, tools, costs and where time and money leak. We come out with a prioritized list of improvements, each with an estimated return, and a plan for the first 90 days.

Following months: execute, measure, adjust. Each month one or several improvements are built according to the plan. Deliveries every two weeks. A monthly meeting (or bi-weekly, or weekly depending on the plan) to review results: hours saved, leads, sales, incidents. And the roadmap is adjusted with what we've learned.

Always: available. A problem with the website, a question about a tool, a provider proposing something. You write to me and we sort it out. That's what I'm there for.

The difference from a closed project is continuity. A project ends when it's delivered. A partnership ends when the company no longer needs it, and in the meantime every month builds on the previous one.

    What it costs

I work with three levels, no lock-in:

    • Essential, €990 a month. Diagnosis and roadmap, one automation or improvement per month, monthly meeting, WhatsApp support during business hours. To start with judgment.
    • Growth, €1,900 a month. Up to three improvements per month, AI integration (assistants, agents, reporting), monthly team training, bi-weekly meeting. The most popular.
    • Partner, from €3,900 a month. Continuous custom development, quarterly digital and sales strategy, top priority with response under four hours, weekly meeting. Your complete technology department.
    • Companies with more than 50 people, groups or operations in several countries: custom proposal after an initial diagnosis. Scope and price are set on real numbers, not a generic rate.

For comparison: a junior full-time technology director costs over €4,000 a month in gross salary alone, before employer charges, and doesn't have 20 years of experience. An agency charges €2,000 to €5,000 for a small project, with no continuity.

Full details are on the monthly digital partnership page.

Who it makes sense for (and who it doesn't)

    It makes sense if:

    • You run a company with a real team and real revenue, and technology is a brake instead of a help.
    • You've already tried tools or agencies and the result didn't last.
    • You want to use AI with judgment, not because it's fashionable.
    • You have nobody internal who takes care of technology, and you don't want to hire full time.
    • You value talking directly to the person doing the work.

    It doesn't make sense if:

    • You need a one-off, closed project (a new website, for instance). There are project services for that.
    • Your company already has an internal technical team that just needs extra hands. Project-based development fits there.
    • You're looking for the cheapest option. The partnership is an investment in judgment and continuity, not a low-cost service.
    • You won't dedicate at least one hour a month to reviewing results and deciding. Without your involvement, it doesn't work.

A case: distribution company with 22 people

Starting point: orders by WhatsApp and phone transcribed by hand, invoicing in an old program that didn't talk to anything, three previous attempts to "digitalize" left half done.

First month: diagnosis. 11 improvable processes came out; we prioritized 3 by return.

Months 2 and 3: WhatsApp assistant that receives orders and structures them; integration with invoicing; pending orders dashboard for the warehouse.

Months 4 to 6: automatic payment reminders, weekly sales report for management, training the sales team on the CRM.

Result at six months: 70 percent of orders come in without manual transcription, average collection period cut by 11 days, management receives the numbers every Monday without asking. The person who used to transcribe orders now manages collections and key account service.

Total cost: six months of the Growth plan, €11,400. Savings and additional revenue estimated by the company itself: over €4,000 a month.

    Questions I always get

What if one month there's nothing to do? It's never happened. There are always processes to improve. But if it did, the plan pauses. No lock-in means no lock-in.

Can I start on Essential and move up? Yes, and that's what most people do. You start with the diagnosis and one improvement, see the result, and decide.

Is everything you build mine? Yes. Code, access, documentation, accounts. If one day you decide to continue with someone else, they have everything they need.

Do you work with companies outside France? Yes, with clients in Spain, the United States and Venezuela, remotely and in person when it adds value. In Spanish, English and French.

    How to start

A 15-minute call. You tell me about your company, where technology hurts and what you've tried. I'll tell you frankly whether the partnership fits or whether something else suits you better. No commitment.

If it fits, we start the diagnosis the following month. And at 90 days you have something you don't have today: a plan being executed, measured results and someone you trust to call when technology gets complicated.
